Forgotten Kisses

The first time my brother ever asked me to make him food-he asked for these. They are fantastic and there are no eggs in them which is awesome for people with allergies.

Ingredients
1 cup softened margarine
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup mini M&Ms
Bag of Hersey kisses

*Preheat oven to 375
*beat the butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until well blended
*add the flour and blend until smooth
*stir in the M&Ms (with a spoon, not a mixer)
*take small spoonfuls of dough and form a ball around the Hersey Kiss (Doesn't need to be perfect) I have found that if you take a small spoonful of dough and stick the kiss in point side down and then form the dough around the bottom of the kiss and then rolling it a few times in your hand (imagine making play dough balls when you were little)-it makes it easier
*place on an un-greased cookie sheet
*bake 10-12 minutes and allow to cool

If you want to add a chocolate drizzle on top, melt some chocolate chips with shortening in the microwave-30 seconds and stir, 10 seconds and stir and so on until melted and then dip a whisk in the chocolate and shake over the top of the cookies to add drizzle--this part is completely optional!

Makes about 4 dozen cookies
